"If you are serious about healing, then brace yourself for a crash course in curing whatever ails you…the secret is in getting your body so chemically unloaded and nutrient primed, that it heals itself."

Cleansing and Detoxification
The Natural Cleansing Process
Our bodies have the marvelous natural ability to break down toxins, both those which we take in from the environment, and those from waste materials produced by our body's own metabolic processes. These toxins are ideally completely broken down by our bodies into relatively less harmless molecules and then excreted by the lungs, liver, kidney and intestines as waste via sweat, breath, urine and bowel movements.
Why Do We Need to Cleanse Ourselves?
The toxic load our bodies must process and excrete has grown steadily over the last 50 years, as our world has become polluted, and the products and by-products of modern industry, agriculture, pharmaceutical medicines, pest management and agriculture tax the body's natural systems. Many of the substances our systems are asked to handle can only be partially broken down, and a significant percentage of those breakdown products are still toxic.
When our bodies are pushed past their limits, and exposed to more toxic substances than they can easily handle, basic bodily functions can be compromised, our daily quality of life can suffer, and eventually disease and dysfunction results. Environmental toxins have been shown to be significant contributors to a wide range of modern 'civilized' states of illness and degenerative diseases.
The damaging substances which may accumulate in our bodies typically include heavy metals such as lead, cadmium, aluminum and mercury; plastics, pesticides, herbicides and other chemicals; dyes, hormones and antibiotics in our food sources; fillers, dyes and excipients in pharmaceuticals, and even a certain level of internal toxins generated by incomplete or improper digestion of food.
